-Care tips for the "PREMIUM" collection by YVES ENZO PARIS:
1. Washing: Cotton can be washed either by hand or machine.
By hand: Use lukewarm water & a mild detergent. Do not rub too hard; gently press the fabric.
In the machine: Use a washing net to prevent the fibers from clinging to the drum.
Temperature: 30°C maximum, in "Delicate" or "Hand" program.
Wringing: Minimum (400 to 600 rpm). Excessive wringing breaks the fibers & creates wrinkles that are impossible to iron.
2. Drying: Do not use the dryer; it is the number one enemy of cotton (risk of shrinkage and yellowing).
In the open air: Spread the shirt on a wide hanger as soon as the wash is finished.
Tip: Button the first button & smooth the fabric with your hands to loosen the fibers. This will make ironing easier.
Avoid direct sunlight for colored shirts, as the sun "eats" the pigments.
3. Ironing: Moisture is your best friend; iron the shirt when it is slightly damp.
Temperature: Hot iron (cotton), recommend steam.
Precautions: If the shirt is dark or has embroidery, iron it on reverse to avoid glossing the fabric (making it shiny).
Expert tip: If you’re traveling, hang your shirt in the bathroom while you take a hot shower. Water vapor will help to naturally unwrinkle cotton.
